“I just love volunteering for One Mother To Another. I know how difficult it can be in hospital with tamariki and facing the unknown. Giving a few hours every couple of months is nothing compared to the feeling of love and support the recipients will feel when they receive their pack.”

“I heard about One Mother to Another through a friend who had received a pack during one of her many stays with her child, who was seriously unwell. I never felt like I did enough for her during that time, so helping out with OMTA now is my way of paying it back and returning my gratitude for others who had given my friend that message of encouragement and pick-me-up during her dark days. Since then volunteering has become a bit of a family thing with our children now helping out. This is giving them a great sense of the importance of community service and feeling good about doing something nice for others”
